The KIPDA Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) is developed through an involved process and community partnerships which includes community input, coordinated planning efforts with HMP partners, and public outreach. The plan incorporates existing past KIPDA Hazard Mitigation Plans and studies, and the creation of the HMP risk assessment, mitigation strategy, and continuing plan maintenance.
